They dug up the Plymouth...

and the tomb was filled with water. It's kind of creepy actually. I've been watching a bunch of old film reels about the burying of the Belvedere, and to see it lifted out of the concrete hell full of water was rather powerful. the shape of the slick coupe under 50 years worth of mud and tarp.

Any who, a part of the left rear fin was sticking out of the tarp and it was covered, and I do mean covered, with rust. Sad thing. I wonder how the gas and oil faired...

Well...

The Camelot's demolition is set to begin later this month. According to KJRH news, explosives cannot be used in the demolition because of its close proximity to homes. This, of course, is a major bummer. It's bad enough that they're bringing it down in the first place, but they could at least let it go out in a blaze of glory. Boooooo.

First Blog

This blog will follow in the footsteps of the Lost Tulsa and Abandoned Tulsa blogs. Shameless copying? Yes, but I just want to share my pictures of Tulsa county.
